“Haus of Chan came out of necessity. It is so healing to now have a safe space, for Asian people who are Queer, Non-binary and Trans - but I still wish we had more.”
Haus of Chan is a performance-based art collective made up of queer, trans and non-binary Asian artists, as well as LGBTQ+ allies. Formed by Dan Chan in 2022 to showcase Asian culture and talent through their own gaze, their performances range from drag, dance and comedy, with an emphasis on cultural celebration and education.

From performing at the Eurovision Village stage in the Vogue Royalty Ball to featuring in local drag cabaret shows such as Spew’s Drag King’s and Thing’s, the Haus of Chan always delivers a sensational performance full of colour, lust and queer Asian joy!

Haus of Chan is currently made up of 6 talented artists and performers including, Dan Chan as Haus Mother (they/them), Katherine Ka Yi Liu (he/she/they/it), Margie Houlston (she/they), Pei Tong (she/her), Pilau Prince (they/them) and Faith Ma (she/her).
