Right Here, Right Now
Rosa Kusabbi’s mural bursts with queer joy — a bold, colourful tribute to the LGBTQIA+ communities shaping Liverpool today. Created for Lovelocks Coffee Shop, the artwork celebrates the power of grassroots organising and the importance of safe, welcoming spaces where people can simply be.
Lovelocks has become a vital hub in the city’s queer community — a home away from home where connection, creativity, and solidarity thrive. Rosa’s work captures that spirit: vibrant, defiant, and full of love.
Through her mural, Rosa reminds us that queer history isn’t just something of the past — it’s happening right here, right now, in the everyday acts of togetherness that keep communities alive.
Watch the short film to hear from Rosa and discover how Lovelocks continues to play a vital role in Liverpool’s LGBTQIA+ story.
The mural is visible anytime.
