Remembering our Past, Shaping our Future.

Queer Places is a creative platform that celebrates Liverpool's LGBTQIA+ spaces — past, present, and future. Rooted in community, creativity and space, the project brings queer histories to life through a growing digital archive, creative storytelling and community engagement. We uncover and document the lived experiences that institutional records often fail to represent — from smoky backrooms and joyful dance floors to today’s endangered and evolving spaces. By learning from our past and celebrating queer joy in our timelines, we work to protect the spaces we have today and imagine the ones we need tomorrow.
